Monsters at Work

Monster Inc. was great because it was about monsters scaring children, but with such a personality making them likeable all the same.
Turning them to “jokers” resulted in a cheesy and unnatural attempt to transform Monster Inc. concept in an harmless, tasteless, politically correct product, in the worst pandering way. It’s clear it’s no more for every age, it’s a pedant lesson of how being good and nice to kindergarden toddlers. Without that oxymoron (monsters that are scary but somehow nice) the show lost its meaning, and became one of the many cheesy, stupid, hypocritically moralist toons that intelligent people can just avoid with care.
