Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Manga) Visitor Arc

Lina returns to her apartment frustrated by the events of the night and having to get back without a CAD. She tries to contact Balance, but no one answers. Worried, she heads to HQ to find it empty with all the staff missing.

The Shiba’s watch the news over breakfast, where it’s reported that a USNA ship was adrift and near Japan. Tatsuya casually remarks on the ship, but he realizes it’s the work of the Yotsuba Clan and is impressed at the speed they acted to suppress the USNA, obviously having preparations in place before the call was made.

Miyuki who was playing dumb, excuses herself and reflects on the fact she asked Yotsuba Maya for aid and asked her to keep it a secret from Tatsuya. Looking in the mirror she reflects on the fact she must marry and that she detests the thought of being with anyone but Tatsuya, that all of her is his and his alone, lamenting her wish can never come true.

At school, Tatsuya leads a disguised Pixie to a classroom to question her further. He asks about the vampire murders and learns the parasites were trying to reproduce by attaching to the target’s astral body, with the blood loss being a side effect. She reports they have been unsuccessful so far. Tatsuya asks about the group and Pixie confirms they have a group consciousness, both individuals and one whole, but Pixie is now isolated due to her robot body. She confirms she could sense others if she’s close enough and vice versa.

At this point, an upset Erika arrives and enters the room. She brings up Naotsugu’s defeat and wants information. Tatsuya tells her he lost to the USNA’s Angie Sirius and to leave it alone, referencing the ship on the news. Realising what he means, Erika is shocked as only the most powerful in the country could pull off such a stunt. Deducing on which of the Ten Master Clans could do this, she realizes Tatsuya is from the Yotsuba clan. Before she can ask, Tatsuya cuts her off and they end the conversation with Tatsuya glaring and telling her to drop the subject.

Upon leaving, Erika reflects on the realisation of who the Shiba’s are, and regrets ruffling the feathers of such a dangerous group, as the glare she was given made it clear that the subject was taboo and contemplates what to do now.
