Heathrow Express is a high-speed rail service offering the quickest way to journey from
Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station in central London – or to the
airport from the city.

Getting to the Heathrow Express

At Paddington Station
Trains leave from platforms 6 and 7. The Heathrow Express ticket office
is located at the entrance to this area.

Underground tickets are available at all central London underground
stations, and at Heathrow, offering travel on both underground and the
Heathrow Express.

Arriving in Paddington Station,
London

Paddington Station is one of the major transport hubs for central London.
Four underground lines meet at the station; District, Circle, Hammersmith
& City and Bakerloo lines. As well, taxis are available just beside
the Heathrow Express desk. Taxi sharing is available, offering a reduced
rate for sharing a taxi ride with other passengers.

Trains
Carriages are modern, spacious and air-conditioned, with an added bonus of Express TV offering BBC news updates. Stylish new trains feature comfortable seats and luggage capacity in both Express Class and First Class. Trains offer easy wheelchair access.

Tickets
Heathrow Express tickets may be booked in-person, or pre-booked by phone,
and sent to your address (UK only). You can
also book online at www.heathrowexpress.com/.
E-tickets are stored in ticket machines for collection at either Heathrow
Airport Station or London Paddington Station.

Online discounts: two children free with each adult paying full fare. Duo Saver discount for two people travelling together on an Express Class return journey. Group Saver fare offers over £5 discount per passenger on a return trip for four or more people travelling together.

Child Rates
Children under age 5 travel free, while those aged between 5 and 15
are charged at half the adult rate.

In addition, there are several discount schemes available, including
monthly and yearly season tickets, seniors and student discounts, a
London day return card, a family rail card, and a Group Weekender ticket
which allows 4 adults to travel for the price of 2.

Journey time
It takes 15 minutes to go from the airport to central London (23 minutes
from Heathrow Terminal 4).
