I have ordered a few of swords directly from Amazon before. The main issue you’ll have is how they package them. For DVDs, CDs, books, etc. Amazon is great. But when it comes to swords… well, they just don’t know how to package them securely. They’ll just take the manufacturer’s box and slap a shipping label on it. I had to return two swords that arrived damaged because they weren’t secured inside the box at all, and the third actually arrived undamaged despite the fact that the flimsy box was torn to shreds and the crossguard was actually sticking out of the side of the box. I will not be ordering any more swords from them no matter how good the deal.

So, if ordering direct from Amazon the products are legit… they just might not make it to you intact due to poor packaging. Third party sellers on Amazon may do better. I ordered a Shintogo katana from an Amazon seller that arrived safely and securely.
