BMW Roundels Bob’s Motorcycles

BMW enthusiasts will argue about whether the blue and white quadrants of the BMW roundel logo symbolize a spinning airplane propeller against a blue sky (BMW first existed as an aircraft engine manufacturer, ca. 1916), or they simply represent the official colors of the Bavarian homeland (BMW = Blau Mit Weiss”), or some other fanciful explanation. What BMW enthusiasts WON’T argue about is the pure pleasure we all feel gazing upon that simple yet compelling circle of colors and shapes. The BMW roundel is one of the most recognized logos in the world for good reason. For those of us lucky enough to own a BMW motorcycle, it seems that no amount of brand loyalty expression can be too much. That’s why we created this “Roundel Roundup” page. We KNOW you’re going to use these roundels for more than just sticking on your gas tank. You’re going to decorate, celebrate, and paste these things in places that proclaim your pride in BMW ownership! We’re just here to make it easier for you to shop for them.

BMW roundels come in so many sizes, styles, and materials: flat, convex, 3D-molded shapes, “under-glass,” metal, plastic, ceramic (cloisonné enamel), vintage, modern, Motosport … whew! The hard part is choosing! The easy part, though, is applying them. Most come with peel-&-stick backing, a few need screws, or you have to supply your own adhesive. Either way, it’s pretty simple. Just think of how many places you’d like to apply BMW roundels!
