Adopt an Instructor to attend Camp Trade and Industry

Please support AGC Georgia’s annual “Adopt Your Instructor” campaign with a tax-deductible donation to AGC Georgia Foundation. All monies raised through this request offset expenses incurred to host Camp T & I, a hands-on industry training program for high school construction instructors.  Funds are also used to lessen the burden of travel costs for attendees.  Dozens of instructors attend; consider adopting several for $500 each.

Along with helping pay for the camp through campaign donations, AGC Georgia members attend to network with instructors and share their industry expertise.  Hands-on best practices training in masonry, concrete, metal stud framing, plumbing, and electrical help instructors elevate their classroom curriculum.  Member facilitators also provide information about employability/soft skills students need to do their best during interviews and as a member of a jobsite team.  This comprehensive training is very unique and vital to the growth of Georgia’s construction programs.

A HUGE thank you to all members who continue to support Camp T & I!  So much of the workforce development magic happens at the grassroots level.  This program is a great example of how you can get engaged and make a difference.
