WATCH WEDNESDAY – AMERICAN PSYCHO – Rolex Datejust 16013 – Everyday Metal

Written by Bret Easton, American Psycho tells the story Patrick Bateman, a banking executive that hides his murderous alter ego behind a glossy, upper class life style.

The movie adaption was released in 2000 staring Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman.

Throughout the movie you can see Bateman wearing a Rolex Datejust 16013 with Jubilee Bracelet.

The Rolex Datejust collection was originally introduced in 1946 and was considered to be one of the best modern watches.

The example in the movie has a gold and stainless combination with a fluted bezel, this style would have been released some time in the 1980’s and is a very good fit for the character.
