Visual Studio Express for Web
Visual Studio Express for Web is a part of Visual Studio package created for webmasters. The application fulfils the basic needs in terms of creating, testing and publishing sites using ASP.NET. The possibilities of the program include:
- developing applications using ASP.NET (C#, Visual Basic) or Silverlight
- graphic form designer (tens of ASP.NET controls)
- code editor containing line numbering, syntax highlighting, code completion and bookmarks
- integration with Microsoft SQL Server
- snippets
- built-in debugger and task list
- flexible interface
- extension system (only templates and controls for toolbox)
- managing css styles and formatting layers of the presentation (e.g. inserting tables, aligning, listing, changing style, color and font size)
