The Toyota Hilux 2.4 E 4×2 MT is the base variant of the Lifestyle version of the pickup truck and was updated in the 2020 facelift which the Hilux received.

The Toyota Hilux 2.4 E 4×2 MT shares its 2.4-litre four-cylinder with the rest of the Lifestyle variants of the pickup. With a maximum power output of 150 PS and a peak torque output of 400 Nm, it is a slightly detuned version of the same engine which is available in the Conquest variants of the Toyota Hilux. The engine here has been coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and returns a fuel economy of 12.8 kmpl.
