  • Print off the pdf version of the sheet using a home printer

Print off a few different designs to create your own coloring book. I love having a few printables on hand for a low prep art activity.

You can even print out these designs onto cardstock for a sturdier sheet for crafting.

Color each apple to look like apples you observe in real life. Talking about the different colors and tones with your kids is a great way to practice color recognition.

Plus, making observations is an important science skill.

If you do not have any real apples to observe, your kids can color in the sheets using their imagination.
