Sugar Express Rare Mileage Tour
This multi-trip, three-day event will operate Friday, January 20th, Saturday the 21st, and Sunday the 22nd.
Trips will feature day-long train rides, multiple photo opportunities, and onboard appetizer and non-alcoholic drink service each day. Friday, January 20th will be behind steam locomotive Sugar Express No. 148, and South Central Florida Express diesel locomotives will operate the special on Saturday, January 21st, and Sunday January 22nd.
Three-day packages will be available for $400 plus tax. Ticket sales begin October 5th.

8:20 am-8:50 am – Photo runby at Shawnee cane loader (MP 942.3)
9:30-9:50 am – Photo stop at Caloosahatchee Canal Swing Bridge
11:40 am – Reverse at Sebring
12:15 pm – Lunch and photos at Lake Placid with tour of depot museum
1:15 pm – Depart Lake Placid
2:15 pm – Photo runby at Fisheating Creek if time allows.
3:00-3:20 pm – Photo runby Caloosahatchee Canal Swing Bridge
3:30-4:00 pm – Photo runby at Gramlin #1 cane loader (MP 937.4)
5:00 pm – Arrive Clewiston

7:00 am – Train available for boarding
8:00 am – Depart Clewiston after photos by riders

Noon – Reverse at milepost K15.5
12:15-12:45 pm – Photo runby at County Line Canal Bridge (MP K22.1)
1:45-2:15 pm – Photo runby at St. Lucie Canal Bridge (MP K40.1)
3:15-3:45 pm – Photo runby at South Shore cane loader (MP K65.8)
5:00 pm – Arrive Clewiston
