List of COVID-19 Testing Locations in Vietnam

* Starting at 12:01 a.m. EDT on June 12, 2022, the CDC will no longer order air passengers to show a negative COVID-19 test result, or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19, prior to boarding a flight to the United States. Of note, CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-U.S. citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect. * Currently, the Vietnamese government does not require COVID-19 testing for domestic travel.  U.S. citizens with questions about testing requirements while residing in Vietnam should contact their hotels, landlords, employers, or transportation providers for the most up-to-date instructions.  The U.S. Mission in Vietnam cannot intervene in these regulations in any way.

RT-PCR Testing Locations: 

Below is a list of medical centers and hospitals in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang that provide RT-PCR testing services.  Test results are generally provided within 24 hours.  Please note that this list is by no means exhaustive, and U.S. citizens should contact these medical centers and hospitals directly if they have questions.  U.S. citizens in other provinces in Vietnam may also contact an authorized testing facility in that province about pre-departure testing services.  U.S. citizens should pay directly for testing services: Please note that the testing fee rates listed below were provided by the medical centers and hospitals on April 13, 2022, and are subject to change without prior notice.

In Hanoi:

• Vinmec International Hospital: Please contact their hotline 1900 232 389 or email at [email protected]; [email protected] for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is VND 518,000.

• Family Medical Practice Hanoi: The clinic supports online appointment bookings via this website  and can be reached at 0777-399-119 or email: [email protected].  Their listed COVID-19 test fee is VND 2,700,000.

In Ho Chi Minh City:

• Military Hospital 175: Please call 0399 175 175 – Ext. 2 or 0961175175 for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is VND 1,600,000.
• Gia An 115: Please call (028) 628 85 886 for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is VND 1,800,000 (get result  on the same day); VND 1,200,000 (get result the next day).
• Diag Centers: Please contact their hotline 09001717. Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is: VND 550,000.

In Da Nang:

• CDC Da Nang: Please call (0236) 3574 665 for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is VND 502,000.
• Thien Nhan Hospital (Da Nang): Please call (0236) 3568 988 for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is: VND 530,000 (test results are in both English and Vietnamese).
• Hoan My Da Nang Hospital: Please call (0236) 3650 676 for instructions.  Their listed COVID-19 testing fee is: VND 600,000 (test results are in both English and Vietnamese).

Method of delivery of test results may depend on testing center.  Please contact testing centers directly to confirm available methods of delivery.

Antigen (Rapid Test) Testing Locations:

Generally, antigen testing fees in Vietnam range from around 83,000 VND to around 600,000 VND, depending on the testing facilities.  Most major public hospitals in cities and provinces across Vietnam offer antigen testing services.  Hanoi’s Department of Health has also published a list of non-public hospitals and clinics offering this service on their website here.  Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Health has published a list of hospitals and clinics offering this service on their website here.  Please note that the information on these lists is managed by the Vietnamese government and is subject to changes without prior notice.  U.S. citizens may also contact their hotels, landlords, employers, or a nearby medical center for instructions on where to conduct this test and obtain the negative testing certificate.
