Yes, the Amazon.com Store Card is a credit card. More specifically, store cards work like any other type of credit cards. The sole exception is that you can only use most store cards at the retailer they’re affiliated with, which is Amazon in this case.

 Amazon.com Store Card Details

  • Initial Bonus: A $60 Amazon gift card upon approval.  
  • Ongoing Rewards: 5% back on Amazon.com purchases for Prime members. 
  • Financing Offer: 0% for 6 – 24 months on pre-set minimum purchases as long as you pay your balance in full by the end of the promotional period. This deferred interest rate is offered for select Amazon.com items.
  • Regular APR: 29.99% (V)
  • Annual Fee: $0
  • Minimum Credit Required: Fair credit

As with any credit card, Amazon.com Store Card gets you a line of credit. Also, if you always pay your balance on-time and in full, you won’t be charged any interest.
