Problem is completely random. You tap the screen and nothing happens. You hit the side key, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes the screen finally wakes and Siri comes along for the ride.

Been filing feedback against this since for the last few beta versions (starting back at 16.2, I believe). Nothing happens. Nothing ever happens. I’m starting to wonder if this is just a joke to Apple or something because it’s one of those things that doesn’t happen ALL the time, but just often enough to really cheese me off.

It doesn’t seem to be like the issue Luke Miani made a video about, his phone (which is a 14 Pro) seemed to be still “awake”, the screen just wasn’t on. In my case it seems like the phone has fallen into a deep sleep and requires some sort of manual intervention to get it to snap out of it.
