Creating an Amazon Account | CELA

One of the requisites for setting up your Amazon smart speaker is an account that keeps track of all the relevant personal info you might want to access through your devices.

Here are the steps to create your new Amazon account:

1. Go to Create Amazon Account
2. Enter your name.
3. Enter your email. Note: If you already have a Google account or other supported services you might be offered to register using these to simplify the process.
4. Enter and confirm your password to be used with this account.
5. Press the button “Create your Amazon account”. You will land on a screen requiring a captcha verification meant to confirm that you are not a robot. You have the option to enter characters you hear rather than using a visual captcha.
6. Verify your email. A code will be sent to the email you registered with that you have to fill in here.
7. Enter your mobile phone number. You will receive a text message to verify it.

That’s it. You should now be signed in with your brand-new Amazon account.
