American Idol 2022 Finale LIVE – Fans stunned as winner revealed in battle between singers Noah Thompson and HunterGirl | The US Sun

THE WINNER of the American Idol finale was revealed on Sunday night, and fans were left stunned by the result.

The winner of this year’s American Idol was announced as Noah Thompson,

HunterGirl was the runner-up, and Leah Marlene landed in third place.

Leah was eliminated earlier in the night, after the first half of the finale.

Fritz Hager and Nicolina were sent home last week following some amazing performances.

The finalists performed original songs during the finale, but the previous week, they sang songs by Carrie Underwood.

The American Idol season finale aired at 8pm ET on Sunday night on ABC.
