When two employees at an insurance corporation discover a series of payments made for the same death, they take their findings to the CEO, Bernie Lomax who commends them for discovering the insurance fraud and invites them to his beach house for a weekend.
Weekend at Bernie’s has become
Weekend at Bernie’s has become somewhat of a cult favourite over the years, and I’m sure even those that haven’t seen it will be familiar with the premise. To it’s credit it does at first manage to mine a few laughs out of what is essentially one joke, but stretched over an hour and a half it does start to become a little (no pun intended!) stale.
