Upcoming BMW X8 Car Specifications and Price | CarTrade

BMW is rumoured to be developing a flagship four-door coupe SUV which could be called the X8. Like the X4 is based on the X3 and the X6 is based on the X5, the X8 will be based on the X7 flagship SUV with a focus on radical design and sporty handling.

 The BMW X8 is expected to be revealed to the world by the end of 2021, an India launch is expected to follow soon after.

 In terms of design, the X8 will borrow the big grille, slim headlights and taillights from the X8 and pair it with a sloping coupe-like roof design and more muscular body design. The luxurious interior appointments of the X7 will be replaced for a more sportier setting, with abundant use of carbon fibre inserts and black/darker upholstery.

 The X8 will be more suited to a proper M variant as its focus on space and luxury will be much less than the X7. Expect the X8 M to be powered by a modified version of the M8’s 591bhp/750Nm 4.4-litre V8.
