UNLV State Authorization Reciprocity: American Samoa
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents Specifies the constitutional authority under which it was created in Article 1 Section 1, and the institutions under NSHE include the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The entire NSHE handbook is available online. UNLV is a degree-granting institution that is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), which is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. Furthermore, the state of Nevada is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) and the University of Nevada Las Vegas-UNLV (“University”) is an approved SARA institution.
