The Titoni caliber T10 is a manufacture movement that was released in honor of the brand’s 100 anniversary. The T10 was announced in 2019.

Titoni is an independent Swiss watch company.

Notable Features of the T10:

  • Large diameter
  • 3 Day power reserve

According to Titoni marketing materials, the T10 is larger than standard automatic movements. The T10 measures just over 29.3mm, compared to a common ETA 2824-2 which is 25.6mm in diameter.

Titoni also notes a power reserve of 3 days, although the official specs point out that the expected power reserve can range from 68 hours (2.83 days) to 72 hours (3 days). If you have a watch with this movement, please share your power reserve experience in the comments below.

In-House or Manufacture?

Titoni calls the caliber T10 a manufacture movement, yet also uses the term in-house in their text.

“This first ever self-developed and manufactured caliber has been engineered with enthusiasm and dedication by the company’s in-house technical and production team.” -Titoni

Is this another example of the confusion caused by Swiss brands touting the in-house/manufacture scale of their movement production? As we’ve seen with brands like Norqain, manufacture movement is confusingly (and often incorrectly) interchanged with in-house production, even by reputable watch journalists.
