TNT Australia

Purchased some goods online and the seller sent via TNT. I was given a tracking number. Checked online and TNT offered a service to receive tracking updates, so I signed up for that.

I rang TNT and got through to what appeared to be a foreign call centre, or at least an operator that English was a second language. The lady kept telling me “package delivered, check the front door”. Yes, I checked the front door, the rear door and the mail box and all around, no parcel. Operator told me “packaged marked authority to leave, parcel delivered”. After a few back and forth and explaining no one had come to my house, operator said she would lodge enquiry and someone will call within 3 hours. As expected, no one called.
Called back next day, new foreign operator telling me “package delivered, sender authority to leave, we deliver two days ago”. Again, explained nothing delivered and was then advised “I will request depot to redeliver”. Asking what that meant and does that mean it WASN’T delivered, I was told it was delivered. Questioning again, operator said “I don’t know, I get someone to call you”. Has anyone called? No…. Do they care? No…. If the driver marks it delivered, as far as they are concerned, it is…. Definitely not delivered to my house. I live in a semi rural location, was home the last 4 days and no one came to my house, but because it’s marked delivered, they say it is.. Not to be trusted with your goods..
