Defects, Service Deception, Being ignored & poor workmanship | When will this be over?!

No communication and being ignored! even after many contact attempts through every channel available and requests for escalation.

After 7 months of admin errors and delays, the defects and poor workmanship began with construction.

We are now 2 years into our build with no completion date in sight.

Out-of-pocket additional costs of over $4000 per month that Simonds continue to drag us along while ignoring even an application to the Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria.

Not meeting minimum building standards, ignoring defects and independent reports. We’re now chasing our 6th Site Supervisor just to return a call or text while they continue to put us into more financial hardship.

Putting aside the lack of contact from the many supervisors, the lack of respect that the trades have for our home is nothing short of unacceptable. Urine and faeces left in ALL 4 toilets and on flooring, left to sit for such a time that it’s soaked into the grout and silicon, bugs had then found their way into the mess. This was encouraged by the fact the site toilet was removed from site giving trades no other option and no sanitary products to meet a safe work environment or hygienic home for us.

This is NOT what we signed up for! This is definitely not what Simonds advertises to be the service they offer. We were deceived and mislead by Simonds and every much wish for this to be over!
