I was a subscriber when I was in Uni and was gratified I could once again subscribe now that I live in Australia. I recall an artilcle written by a Father/son team on “Flywheel technology and can’t help relating to our world climate problem and how their device could be buried under the silicon farms. I have been waiting for the App version to come out for a while and I am quite pleased with the result. This is a fantastic publication with many noteworthy regular columnists; interesting and insightful content; and for those in the science and research community, it is indexed! I was recommended this and now would recommend it to all.

Scientific American has a long history of high quality science review articles that are accurate and highly readable. They lack the detail found in Nature and Science, but this makes them more accessible to those with a passion for science but technical experience in one of its many sub-branches who like keeping up with advances beyond their discipline. A valuable subscription.
