Shipping: 9/10

Jenny used SunYou Express to send me my package and it did arrive on time, actually much faster than before even. It took only 16 days and arrived unscathed.

Packaging: 9/10

Packaging is honestly just on-point. I see no issues with it and it looks absolutely perfect. Opens exactly the same way a retail box does. Has two boxes, one with the Apple Watch and the cable and another one with the straps at the bottom. Lovely stuff, comes with two booklets. One official booklet as well as a usual “User Manual” one.

Design: 8/10

When I picked it up, I was actually very impressed, it feels right and looks right. When you turn it on, it indeed does have the Apple boot screen. It comes with a pre-applied screen protector and the display is surely a LCD but this is some high quality LCD stuff going on. Gets very bright, has good viewing angles as well. The Watch itself has the Digital Crown and the button and everything mimicked. Design-wise, it looks very good. The straps slide in the same way as the original retail Apple Watch and you can use retail straps with it due to the same reason. I have tried it and it works perfectly without any issues. 44mm straps fit it snug and well. It charges the same way via the puck/Qi magnetic charger just like the retail one. It does have Apple text on the back but the font and color used are too light to be seen directly and you have to really focus.

Functionality: 7/10

Now software-wise, yeah, it does lack when compared to the original retail Watch. They can’t really copy watchOS 1:1 but they have tried and it’s decent really. Of course, you can’t pair it with the Apple Watch app and there’s no such pairing process when you turn on the watch. You can connect your Watch to your iPhone or Android via Bluetooth and it’ll work with or without it. The heart rate sensor *might* be fake but I can’t confirm as of yet. There’s different apps with it and they all do work. You can attend calls via it when connected via Bluetooth. You get your notifications as well. You have different watchfaces as well that you can switch to and most of them are from the retail Apple Watch which makes it cool.

Battery Life: 8/10

So the original Apple Watch Series 6 can go upto 18 hours on a single full charge. This does almost that and I usually do wear it the whole day starting from when I wake up to when I sleep. The battery bar doesn’t really show the percentage unfortunately but I’d guess that it has about 30-ish percent at the end of my 16 hour day which sounds impressive.

Conclusion

The design on these is amazing, accessories that work with retail will work with these including straps, cases, protectors etc. The software can’t be copied 1:1 unfortunately. But prompts to them for trying, it’s a good look on the wrist and if you don’t care much about the functionality, definitely get it.
