“LEADERSHIP THROUGH LANGUAGE”

What is Project GO? “Project Global Officer” is a national initiative sponsored by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office and administered by the Institute of International Education and a coalition of colleges, universities, and senior military academies. It provides full scholarships for ROTC students in approved summer language programs in the U.S. and overseas.

Who is eligible? Any ROTC student from any school may apply to any Project GO program, domestic or overseas. Contracted and non-contracted students are eligible for Project GO.

Project GO at IU.
Indiana University provides Project GO scholarships for the study of Arabic, Chinese, and Russian, in its summer intensive programs on the Indiana University main campus, in Bloomington, IN.

Project GO in Taiwan.
Indiana University provides Project GO scholarships for the study of intermediate and advanced Chinese in its summer intensive program in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.

Award Amount: Full funding for tuition, fees, books, housing, meals, insurance, and domestic and international travel
