Footballs name makes no sense, it should be changed to “Tackleball” there is already a football and we don’t need a second one. Some people get these two sports confused, this needs to stop. The NFL deserves to have a name that is not already taken by another sport. It could be the NTL (National Tackleball League) more people would be more understanding of what the sport is about just from the name if we call it Tackleball, Football doesn’t explain the sport very well. When you say football, do you think of soccer because all you use is your feet. In football you tackle, throw the ball, and you run to get the ball. This does involve your feet when it comes to running and getting what you need to be, but so does every sport. People may say that football has always been what we’ve called it, they might get confused. I believe if we change it to Tackleball, more people will be able to catch on to the new name and get used to it. Other sports fans may argue that in football, you have to Kick the ball for a field goal. Wow this is true, in soccer, feet are used much much more with how the game is played. In football a field goal is a small part of the game. In soccer, feet are used for everything. You were not able to touch the ball with your hands. Only your feet. This is why we need your help to change the name of “American football” to “Tackleball”.
