  One-on-one American accent training

• Get a personal speech evaluation from Lisa Mojsin 

• Your first one-on-one session is with Lisa, and the following ten sessions are with one of our experienced instructors trained in the Accurate English method. All instructors hold MA or PhD degrees. 
  

  Each session is customized for your specific needs and speech patterns.  The lessons are intensive and get results if you are motivated to practice the new speech patterns that you are learning in order to make those changes permanent. Our goal is to help you transform your speech and reach your communication goals as quickly and as efficiently as possible. 

  Topics include:

  • word stress and rhythm – knowing which words to emphasize and which words to reduce
  • intonation patterns, pitch and melody
  • difficult vowel and consonant sounds for speakers of your native language
  • correct pronunciation of words commonly used at your workplace
  • connecting words for natural speech flow
  • If needed: presentation skills
  • If needed: correction of advanced grammar errors
  • a post-training action plan for continued practice to ensure changes to speech are permanent

Here’s how it works:

Your initial evaluation is conducted by me, Lisa Mojsin.  I also design your personal, customized curriculum based on your level, your goals, and the types of speech mistakes you are making.  

You will submit an audio file of your speech, which will be personally analyzed by me.  Prior to your training, you will receive instructions for submitting the audio for evaluation.

The course consists of eleven 50-minute, intensive sessions scheduled on a weekly basis.

Your first one-on-one session will be with me, and the consecutive ten one-on-one sessions will be with one of our experienced instructors, all of whom have Masters or PhD degrees and are personally trained in the Accurate English method, which has produced excellent results for the past 25 years.   

During your first session with me, I will share the results of your evaluation and discuss the curriculum with you. We will also start working on your biggest speech mistakes right away so that you can see improvement as quickly as possible.

The cost for the entire training is $1500 (US dollars.)  

We are passionate about helping you to change your accent and we work hard to ensure that you will have great results. However, you need to be equally committed to your own success.  The most important factor to your success is your motivation level, your dedication, and your commitment to practicing between the sessions.

All classes are conducted on Zoom. Our teachers are located on both the East and West Coasts of the US and scheduling times are flexible. 

Please note that we are usually booked in advance and we have a waiting list of about three to four weeks.
