Next day parcel delivery (Express Post)
1 Next business day delivery is only available within the Express Post next business day delivery network. The national next business day delivery network operates between capital cities (excluding Darwin; and for Perth between CBDs only) and some major centres. Note: Express eParcel is not covered in the Express Post Guarantee.
Check your local Post Office opening hours or speak to your local facility for required parcel pick-up timeframes. You can generally post items in yellow street posting boxes until 5pm Monday to Friday. However, other times may apply in many areas. Please check posting times displayed on individual street posting boxes.
2 Express Post comes with up to $100 compensation included. If you’re sending an item such as electronics or a document such as a passport that is valued over $100, you should purchase Extra Cover. If your parcel is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post, and you haven’t purchased Extra Cover, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, Australia Post does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to our service. Neither the compensation included with our Express Post service nor the purchase of Extra Cover limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
3 Tracking number on barcode is only available if you’ve used a satchel or have lodged your parcel in-store and have been provided with a receipt. Track advice will only be shown when a scan has occurred. Find out more about our tracking service.
4 Australia Post purchases carbon credits to offset the emissions of its deliveries. Find out more about our commitment to carbon neutral parcel delivery.
5 Additional charges apply. Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000 or part thereof) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post. Find out more about Extra Cover.
