‘Midnight at the Magnolia’ Netflix Cast: Meet Natalie Hall and Evan Williams

Netflix‘s holiday lineup is in full swing, so put on that ugly Christmas sweater and pour yourself some hot chocolate, because we’re ready to dive into the streamer’s latest release, Midnight at the Magnolia. The festive film follows friends and coworkers Maggie Quinn (Natalie Hall) and Jack Russo (Evan Williams), who hatch a plan to fake a relationship to try and get their radio show syndicated.

The two pretend lovebirds practice their relationship with a New Years Eve kiss, but when their families catch them in the act, they can’t bear to break the truth to them. While they’re faking it for their fans and families, Maggie and Jack wonder if they’re really putting on an act, or if they’ve truly fallen for each other.

WHO IS NATALIE HALL?

Hall is an actress who most recently starred in Netflix’s Midnight at the Magnolia as Maggie Quinn. She’s originally from Canada, and was born in Vancouver in 1990. Throughout her acting career, she’s worked on Broadway and appeared in multiple films and series, but she’s also a professionally trained dancer. WHAT ELSE HAS NATALIE HALL BEEN IN?

Before appearing in Netflix’s festive film, Hall already had multiple projects on her stacked resume. If you think you recognize her, it’s likely you’ve seen her in Only The Brave, True Blood, or the Charmed reboot. But Hall has been working since 2004, so you could know her from earlier roles in shows like Pretty Little Liars or Drop Dead Diva. Next up for the actress is another holiday movie, Lifetime’s A Very Charming Christmas Town.  

WHO IS EVAN WILLIAMS?

Williams, like his costar Hall, is also a native Canadian. The actor behind Midnight at the Magnolia‘s Jack Russo grew up in Alberta, where he began to consider an acting career after a high school production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” according to his IMDb bio. WHAT ELSE HAS EVAN WILLIAMS BEEN IN?

The Midnight at the Magnolia star got his big break on Degrassi: The Next Generation, but he’s also appeared in shows like Victorious, Awkward, Versailles, and Fuller House. You may know him from his film roles, too, which include parts in Escape Room and A Date By Christmas Eve. Williams has two projects in the works, Blonde and Tempest Desert, after his Netflix film.
