Midnight at the Magnolia (2020)

So its Monday morning so y’all know what it means! Christmas garbage Netflix movie time babyyyy!

I’ll going to save everyone’s time in here – its as good as the poster. Okay, scratch that, the poster looks like one made for an Awards’ ceremony. Its not that bad. There are some attempts to great filmmaking with the camera work and the cinematography is pretty decent, there’s some interest by the filmmaker to make something that looks like a movie. Also the excitement and theatricality Steve Cumyn delivered every scene was glorious. Gloriously bad. But Glorious.

And speaking of awful? This is as dumb and cliche as one may expect. Its one of those “love stories” where even my mom figures…
