Over four years with Too Good To Go, and I can still say the people are without a doubt some of the most wonderful co-workers I’ve had the pleasure to work with. As a lover of food, working in an organization that is dedicated to reducing food waste, (whilst having a positive impact on the world around us) was a no brainer.
I’ve always loved creating. I’ve been fortunate enough to be in a role that lets me do that, in ways that deliver at scale and embody who we are as a company. It’s been quite a journey for me personally, from an intern finding his feet in London to a Global Creative delivering impact in 17 markets – I feel incredibly privileged.
Coming from a South Asian background, reducing food waste is very much embedded in my culture and upbringing. Whether that’s using all parts of a food item, the way food is stored and prepared or making dishes that are versatile in their ingredients. I would definitely recommend looking at how different cultures embed these practices in what we today in the Western world see as being sustainable.
