Install Instructions for HitFilm 4 Express – FXhome

We are no longer issuing new licenses for HitFilm 4 Express, so unless you already have a license you will not be able to activate this software. Why not try our latest version of HitFilm instead?

Step 1: Uninstall any existing copies

Firstly, uninstall any existing copies of HitFilm 4 Express that you might already have on your computer.

Step 3: Run the installer

Run the HitFilm 4 Express installer file on your computer by double clicking on its file icon (this requires administrator privileges on your computer). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 4: Activate the software

• Launch the program
• Choose activate from the options when asked to activate, try or buy.
• If you already have a FXhome website account sign in with your details, otherwise choose to create an account.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 5: Finished

HitFilm 4 Express is now ready for you to use!
