Imagine that you have finished your senior high school and you would like to study in your chosen university. Write a letter for college admission about this. Follow the full block letter format. | Wy
In the full block letter format, you’re basically writing a cover letter. Typically, the first paragraph is where you introduce yourself and explain why you’re writing, the body paragraphs are where you tell the hiring/admissions committee what you have to offer the school, and the final paragraph ties everything up in a small conclusion.
Practically, colleges won’t accept this as an essay for college admission – you have to submit test scores, answer the university’s own writing prompts, and write a personal statement, which shouldn’t look like a cover letter. A personal statement should describe who you are, any unique experiences you’ve had that have made you who you are today, and why you think that college is a good fit for you and what you want to do with your life. Universities will usually have a word or page limit on personal statements, but it’s key to describe who you are and why you want to attend that particular school. Good luck!
