Conditions for Eurail Pass holders

Eurail Passes including Switzerland are valid on the entire route from St.Moritz to Zermatt. Seat reservations, or dining car reservations at extra costs, are compulsory.

The cost of your reservation depends on the length of the route. You can find this information and all other reservation costs, like dining car reservations, on the website of the Glacier Express.

Special features

The new 1st and 2nd class panorama cars are air-cushioned, air-conditioned, wheelchair-accessible and are considerably quieter than the previous generation of rolling stocks. The new interiors are elegant and pleasant and the improved information system is available in six languages. The Glacier Express runs daily during Summer and Winter seasons and offers 1st and 2nd class coaches, panoramic coaches and a dining car.
