2. Breathe!

When you begin to feel stressed, take a step back and focus on your breathing. You’ll be amazed at how powerful conscious breathing can be for calming and centering the mind. If you’re upset, stop what you’re doing and take a deep breath in and an audible H-A haaaa exhale out.
 
Do this a few times and notice how you feel. Breathing gives us life, but it also brings us peace and a sense of being in control. Pranayama, or the conscious breathwork, is an incredibly powerful tool for finding peace and putting the mind at ease.

4. Write your thoughts in a journal

Feeling a little frustrated? Maybe a little angry? Write it down. Don’t allow your negative energy to release into the world around you. Instead, write how you are feeling in a journal.
 
Writing in a journal helps you express yourself, and it always feels better once you get your feelings out. If anything in particular is bothering you, don’t be afraid to write it down – this will help you organize your thoughts.
 
Likewise, a journal can be used for positive thoughts too! What are some things that make you happy? What are you most grateful for? Focus on your accomplishments and all the good that surrounds you. 5. Fuel your mind and body all day long

Fuel your body with exercise too – even just 20 minutes of getting your heart rate up can make a huge difference in your overall mind xstate and ability to cope with stress.
