AmenitiesFanxipan Express consists of 4 carriages with the capacity of 56 berths. Not only do they offer normal 4-berth cabins but also VIP 2-berth cabins for couple or friends who value more privacy and space.
All cabins are wooden paneled, equipped with air-conditional and soft linens and basic necessities like individual reading light with the aim of making your stay the most enjoyable. Interior décor is also reasonably invested in as it demonstrates such an elegant style. The presence of large window allows passengers to be immersed in breathtaking view of the outside landscape. Though restaurant carriage is not available, snacks, drinks and hot instant noodle could be found at the mini-bar at the end of each carriage. Each carriage also includes one toilet at the end.
ScheduleFanxipan offers daily train from Hanoi to Lao Cai with departing time at 21:40 and arriving time at 05:25. For the reverse route, the journey lasts from 20:15 till 04:20.
SP1: Depart Hanoi – Laocai: (21:40 – 05:45)
SP2: Depart Laocai – Hanoi (20:35 – 4:45)

There is nothing much to complain about Fanxipan Express train services as it stands out with its high standard. From Lao Cai to Hanoi, the train departs quite early compared with other trains, and as a result it may not spare customers adequate time to have a proper dinner.
