Although US and Vietnam have many similarities, they also have greater differences. First of it, In US, people use cars as the main transportation method. They prefer cars than other transportation because of several reasons. The climate in US is not suitable for driving motorbikes. Some states have cold climate, for example, Alaska and North Dakota. As a matter of fact, Alaska has an average daytime summer temperatures range from approximately 55 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit, and North Dakota has an average of 57 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, in Alaska, the average winter temperatures range from 5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and from 23 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit in North Dakota. So it is not suitable to drive motorbikes in US. Secondly, roads system in US is made for car transportation, because it doesn’t have lanes for motorbikes. Typically, a highway in US have 10 lanes. On the other hand, Vietnamese people use motorbike as the main transportation method. It is easy to understand because streets in Vietnam are mostly small and tight, so cars cannot drive into it. Furthermore, in peak hours, travelling by motorbikes will save much time because they can wriggle through every spaces possible. Additionally, using cars in Vietnam is increasing the amount of carbon dioxide that is expelled to the environment because Vietnam doesn’t have a modern technology to create an eco-friendly car which produces less gas to the environment.
