Copy / paste functionality; also @ symbol

(Sorry, my mistake – I meant to post this in Q&A and just realised I posted this in General, could it be moved please?)

This seems really basic but it’s been driving me mad. Don’t know if it’s just me?

First, in some apps the keyboard has no @ symbol and I can’t find it whatever I do. In others you can long press the / key to get @. So the on-screen keyboard implementation seems inconsistent across apps. I tried switching to the US keyboard but it was the same, so it must be the app.

Secondly, the copy/paste functionality also seems inconsistent. In some apps I can long press and get the option to copy. In others, whatever I do I can’t call up any copy option at all, only Paste. I found this out when I tried to enter an @ symbol in one app (whose keyboard didn’t have the @ symbol) by pasting the symbol from another app.

Has anyone else got this issue please? Is there an easy way to get the @ symbol, and also to call up Copy?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
