Chili’s American Grill & Bar to open 2nd outlet in Hyderabad – The Hindu BusinessLine
American casual dining restaurant chain Chili’s American Grill & Bar is set to open doors here at Banjara Hills on July 4, American Independence Day.
Known for its quintessential Southwest American cuisine, the restaurant was first opened in 1975 in the city of Dallas, Texas inspired by the legendary Terlingua Chili Cook-Off.
With its presence in over 32 countries, Chili’s American Grill & Bar forayed into the Indian market in mid-2009 with the launch of its first outlet in Mumbai. Following this launch, Chili’s American Grill & Bar made way to Hyderabad with its first outlet in 2010 at Inorbit Mall, Madhapura.
Ashish Saxena, CEO, Chili’s American Grill & Bar, in a statement said, “With this second outlet, the South and West expansion in India now has 8 outlets across Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune. In the coming years, one can see more outlets opening in India.”
