The Countdown to liberty fest 2023 has begun!

Canton Township is excited to announce that this year’s 30th Annual Liberty Fest will be held on June 15, 16, and 17, in Heritage Park!

Once again, Canton Township will be hosting our spectacular fireworks display on Friday night at dusk. Festival-goers will now be able to enjoy spectacular fireworks that are sure to wow the crowds on Friday, June 16. In the event of inclement weather, Liberty Fest fireworks will be held the following night at dusk. 

Established in 1991, Canton Liberty Fest typically welcomes thousands of individuals each summer, who participate in Canton’s largest community celebration over this three-day festival.  Watch for the latest Liberty Fest information here, as well as on Facebook @cantonfun.

MARKETPLACE VENDORS:

The Charter Township of Canton is currently welcoming vendors other than food concession stands/sellers for the Canton Liberty Fest. (This is not strictly an Arts & Craft Show.)  Interested in attending this year’s Liberty Fest as a Vendor?  Please contact the Marketplace Coordinator for more information or apply via mail/email or online below.

Marketplace Vendor Application Deadlines:

• February 13, 2023: Returning vendors with priority, early registration.
• March 1-24, 2023: Canton Farmers Market and Village Arts Factory Registration
• April 2 – May 19, 2023: Public registration.

Spaces fill quickly and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you’d like to participate as a food vendor in this year’s Canton Liberty Fest, or any large-scale summer community event, please complete the appropriate online application below.  Leisure Services staff will contact all applicants via email regarding acceptance of application.

VOLUNTEERS:

Canton Leisure Services is currently seeking volunteers for this year’s Liberty Fest. Plenty of opportunities are available to help out, including the following positions: Welcome & Information Booth Greeters, Bike Corral Assistants, Pancake Breakfast Helpers, and More! Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and must attend a 1-hour orientation on either June 12 or June 13, where they will receive an official Liberty Fest T-Shirt and thorough volunteering instructions.
