The Express Entry System is the fastest point-based immigration program launched by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in January 2015. Through fortnightly Canada express entry draw, it select the skilled workers for immigration to Canada under the key Federal Economic Programs, as per the Canadian Labour Market’s demand. Three main programs under EE system are:
- Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
- Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
In every latest express entry draw, the IRCC selects the candidates among one of the above-mentioned categories along with the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. Most of such EE draws are all-program draws, moreover, the IRCC also hold program-specific Express Entry draws as well.
The aspirants willing to live, work and get permanent residency (PR) in Canada create their online profile and submit EOI (Expression of Interest) in the Express Entry System. Both Canadian employers and provinces have access to view and choose the candidates from the Express Entry Pool.
