These motorcycle were jointly developed by TVS and BMW as part of their partnership and were manufactured in TVS’ Hosur manufacturing facility. BMW has wide range of motorcycles on sale in India and one of the most popular superbike out of them is the S 1000RR which last year received an update. The motorcycle looks great in terms of design. The artist has gone crazy with the design part and has borrowed the front end from the BMW S 1000 RR super bike. The fully faired G 310 RR or the S 310 RR gets the same sleek and aggressive front with headlamps and LED DRLs. The front of the bike has been completely transformed and looks like a higher capacity motorcycle. The fairing at the front also gets the rear view mirrors with turn indicators integrated in them.
The motorcycle retains the G 310 RR’s USD forks and alloy wheels. Coming to the side profile of the motorcycle, it seems like the artist has revised the fuel tank design as it looks a bit more muscular than before. Everything else like the foot rest positioning, seat height , single piece seat, grab handle, exhaust all looks the same as seen in the naked street version. At the rear, things are more or less the same with LED tail light and and a different set of LED turn indicators.

The BMW S 310 RR is basically a mix of S 1000 RR and G 310 RR were the design bits are inspired from the litre class motorcycle and the mechanical bits remain the same as before. BMW currently has no such plans and this is just completely artists imagination. The BMW S 310 RR will be powered by the same 312-cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine that generates a maximum of 34 Bhp and 28 nm of torque. BMW is currently working on BS6 version of G 310 RR and G 310 GS adventure motorcycle and is likely to be launched at a lower price with minor cosmetic changes later this year. While BMW could build a fully faired sportsbike – the S 310 RR – TVS Motors (BMW Motorrad’s manufacturing partner) is likely to build an on-off road motorcycle based on the same platform.
