The Apple Developer Academy is a partnership between MSU and Apple

Individuals 18 or older have the opportunity to become a world-class developer using Apple’s iOS ecosystem. The Academy focuses on coding, design, entrepreneurship, and essential professional skills.

The Apple Developer Academy with MSU in Detroit offers two programs that offer learners the opportunity to build a foundation for work and a career in an app economy.

The Academy is a 9-month program offered in-person, 20 hours/week Monday – Friday. Academy students can expect to work on real-world challenges and connect with community and industry partners.

Foundation Program

In addition, MSU will offer a month-long, in person Foundation Program designed for learners curious about considering app economy careers, and who are interested in learning more about coding, design, and app development in general. The month-long commitment is 20 hours/week Monday – Friday.

The next Apple Foundation Program will have three upcoming sessions to be held in March, April and May 2023. Attendance is required in-person at the Detroit location at 660 Woodward Ave., Suite 200, Detroit, MI 48226. Registration is first-come-first-serve.

Not interested in being a student but have app development experience?

The Academy is also looking for coding, design, and entrepreneurship experts to join as staff mentors who will guide students through the Academy curriculum, content, and activities.
