How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The school is brand new and the facilities are beautiful. Each quarter, the kids must pick new extra-curricular activities and they have 3 to choose from, including from soccer, robotics, and chess. There is not a wide range available

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home
country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

While the school is an American school, Vietnamese and Korean kids are heavily favored. The administration discriminates against single parents and mixed race children and encourages the teachers to do the same. Girls are considered less than boys and are taught to take bullying and abuse from boys, even verbal sexual abuse. Younger boys are also taught to take abuse from older boys, and any child who fights back against abuse is punished with suspension. Teaching is extremely sub-par, with many teachers unable to teach if the materials are not “in the book” and teachers have little say in unfair or unreasonable disciplinary practices of administration. Parents are made promises that are not kept, and the administration overall appears to have a hidden Christian Evangelical agenda.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a parent-teacher organization, although meetings feel as though parents are told about upcoming events or ideas, with little ability to comment

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Never send your children to this school. Our 2 children have thrived in schools in just about every corner of the world, but often came home crying from St Paul. The school and administration are a disgrace.
