American School of the Hague
American School of The Hague (ASH) is an international school located in Wassenaar and serves the educational needs of the international community in the Netherlands. In a safe and welcoming environment, our world-class faculty guides the teaching and learning of our students, between 3 and 18, who represent 76 nationalities, with 28% American and 14% Dutch.

Early Elementary
Elementary School classrooms are primarily self-contained, with Music, Art, Dutch, Computer, Library and Physical Education taught by specialists. Middle School students study their 6 core subjects with a grade-level teaching team, and specialists teach their additional subjects such as Technology and Art. The High School offers full college preparatory programs, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificate, and Advanced Placement courses or a combination thereof. Graduates are accepted at American, European and home country universities. The Elementary, Middle and High Schools all offer dedicated Special Needs programs for students with learning differences or special needs.. The Special Education program at ASH, has developed a worldwide reputation as one of the leaders in providing this service to students of all ages – Special Education forms part of the school’s Mission; to be inclusive and to provide a high quality education to all types of learners.
Middle School
ASH offers a rigorous academic program with a wide variety of STEM, arts and athletic programs. ASH students move with confidence to new schools throughout the world and on average 98% of each graduating class enters university.
As an inclusive school, ASH offers enrichment and learning support programs for students with learning differences, as well as a special education program for students with special needs.

ASH offers a wide variety of co-curricular activities, including The Hague International Model United Nations, and strong Visual Arts, Drama and Music programs. In middle school, Athletics includes volleyball, soccer, swimming, basketball, cross-country, and track & field. High school athletics includes volleyball, soccer, swimming, basketball, cross-country, tennis, baseball, softball, and track & field.
Our two campuses are located within seven minutes walking distance of each other and together offer modern facilities, including:

We are a wireless school, with LCD projectors, speakers and Apple TVs installed in all our classrooms. From grade 5, our students participate in our 1:1 Laptop Program and all community members on campus use Smart Access and Payment cards.
