Stacy gave me a history of the breed being originally bred for fur and said they were an extremely friendly and social breed. After doing research on my own I returned the next week to purchase my little girl, Indigo. Everything Stacey told me was true! She is the sweetest rabbit I have ever owned and is already litter box trained after barely 2 weeks! She comes running to me when I call and I can even let her outside un-penned without fear of having to chase her to pick her up. house chicks at the time and the 18-week-old Doms and the 19-week old GC were perfect. About two weeks after purchase, the Comet started laying and has laid pretty much every day since, with the Dominiques following shortly after. They are such friendly, healthy, and hardy birds; and are very forgiving of my shortcomings and troubleshooting as a first-time chicken keeper. The only ‘complaint’ is that my Golden Comet’s eggshells are TOO hard and require a second crack to open! I recently expanded my coop and run as the girls have matured, and I’m hoping to add more birds soon, as I now have room for 2-3 more. My first choice is another Golden Comet, and I’m hoping they’ll have Ameraucanas ready to go by then! I cannot thank Dunreath enough for gifting me with beautifully healthy and happy birds and a fantastic feed to start out with! Thank you all so much!

The Golden Comets are beautiful & healthy and just like they were described on the website. They made good friends with me as well as my daughter and her friends in no time. Allowing us to handle them all the time and following us around the yard like shadows.
They give us 3 beautiful brownish red eggs a day and they are delicious. We even get a JUMBO egg every once in a while!

We made our trip up to Ashland and I ended up falling in love with Goslings instead and she told me since I wanted just a pet they would be perfect and she was right. I have fallen in love! They follow me around my yard as if I were their real mother. I have to say this is by far the most amazing experience of my life.
