ATLauncher – Modpack launcher for Minecraft

May 9, 2023 – Last chance for Microsoft account migration

Mojang have announced that on September 19th they will turn off login for unmigrated accounts. This will mean you’ll no longer be able to login and play Minecraft.

We will remove legacy unmigrated account login from the launcher once Mojang have confirmed to have turned the login servers off.

If you still haven’t migrated your account, please make sure you do so now so you don’t lose access. If you’re having troubles migrating or need help, take a look at Mojang’s migration FAQ page.

Apr 27, 2023 – FTB packs no longer available

At the request of Slowpoke on behalf of FTB team, we’ve had to remove FTB packs from our launcher.

Pre existing instances will continue to work, but you will not be able to install new instances or update/reinstall previous ones going forward.

We’ve been told there may be allowances in the future to allow the inclusion of some packs again, but for the moment the importing of pre existing installs from the FTB launcher have been given the okay, and we’ll be working to allow that for those that wish to use it in the future.

Apr 18, 2023 – Update 3.4.28.0 – Unified Packs Home and Search

Version 3.4.28.0 introduces a new feature in the Packs tab, our new Unified Pack Home and Search.

The new Search tab in the Packs tab allows you to instantly see the featured packs across all platforms supported by the launcher. This is a great place for new players to get started and find packs that modpack platforms have featured and recommend to users.

Within the same tab, you can search across all modpack platforms and quickly and easily find the modpack you’re looking for without having to know which platform it’s on. Of course you can at any time still go to a specific platform (such as Modrinth or CurseForge) and filter and sort from there.

While this feature is new, we’ll be tweaking it and adding new features such as the ability to sort, filter and paginate, but for now, if you see any issues or have any feedback, please let us know in our Discord.

Aug 6, 2022 – Update 3.4.20.0 – ARM Support and Translations

We’ve just released version 3.4.20.0 of the launcher which includes beta support for ARM based devices as well as preparations for translations and multilanguage support.

Previously ATLauncher didn’t work too well with ARM devices, and with this update we’ve included support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. We’ve tested this out a bunch and it should be okay, but if you have an ARM device and notice issues, please reach out in our Discord to help us refine and fix issues going forward as we now fully support ARM devices.

Lastly we’ve been gearing up the launcher to work with multi languages, and while we’re not there just yet, we’re close and the last step to get going is to get the translations all up to date and done so the UI can be worked on to accommodate the different languages. If you’re fluent in English and another language and want to contribute to the translation of the launcher, please visit our CrowdIn page and help translate. Also feel free to reach out in the #translations channel in our Discord.

Jul 11, 2022 – Mojang Accounts Cannot Play Online Anymore

We’re currently seeing multiple issues being raised where people can no longer login to online servers anymore with their non migrated Mojang account.

It seems as though Microsoft has pulled the support for Mojang accounts and in order to play on online servers now, you must migrate your account to a Microsoft account as the legacy api’s used for session management within the game no longer are working.

As a result you’ll no longer be able to login and play on online servers with Mojang accounts going forward. There are no workarounds other than to migrate your account.
