Some of the best ideas in TV and movies never make it past the idea stage. But Americas Got Talent, a show featuring different magic acts from all over America is a reality show on NBC where the judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel — judge aspiring performers from all over the country that audition in front of them.
There are three rounds to the competition including auditions, semifinals, and finals. At the end of every episode, one performer will be eliminated by the judges until only one person remains standing — Americas Got Talent champion!
This season there have been some really great performances but also some not so great ones too! Some people were just completely out of tune or they couldn’t dance at all which made it very difficult for them to stay in this competition. The show first aired on NBC in June 2006 and has been airing ever since. Now that we’re on our 16th season of AGT, judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Mel B are looking for groups to showcase their abilities with the hopes that one of them will be selected to open up for acts such as Susan Boyle or David Copperfield during the finale.
There are many magicians that have tried to win AGT (Americas Got Talent) and it’s safe to say that some of them had a better chance at winning AGT than others.
