A New Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet is Coming Soon | Cord Cutters News

If you have been thinking about getting an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, you may want to wait. The current model was originally released in 2021, but it looks like an updated model is on its way.

According to a report from liliputing, a new Amazon Fire HD 10 and likely Fire HD 10 Plus tablet have just passed through FCC approval. This would be the 13th-gen Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, and it is the flagship of the Amazon tablet lineup.

This new tablet seems to include support for NFC and GPS, something the current Fire HD 10 does not support. The new measurements make it look like it will be slightly bigger than the current Fire 10 HD, as it will be 250 x 169 x 9.6mm.

We don’t know the pricing or a release date yet but look for it sooner than later. Also, look for the new model to have at least the same specs as the current model, if not better. The 2021 Fire HD 10 Plus tablet came with 32 or 64GB of storage, a 12-hour battery, wireless charging, 4GB of RAM, and an octa-core processor.

It still looks like the new Amazon Fire HD 10 is a budget tablet like the past models. If all you want is a tablet to watch some movies with, surf the web, and check your email, they have always been some of the best budget tablets on the market.
