Two new regional summoner icons have been added this cycle – one for

New Hextech Crafting Assets & Chests

Several new Snowdown themed hextech crafting assets were added in the 6.24 update. No release or promotion details yet.

The

Legend of the Poro King Changes

Legend of the Poro King changes are now on the PBE for testing, including different types of poro snax to feed the Poro King for bonus effects!

As you may have seen in our previous post we have some changes coming up for Poro King! 

As a note, Poro King will be one of our first TWO modes in the Updated League Client! 😀 Try it out and let us know! There will be some missing strings and assets for a while. 

TL;DR: 

• Feed the King snax!
• Snax do cool, combat enhancing skills
• There are four snax total!
• Frosted Snax
• Shoots a barrage of ice missiles. So cold!
• Spicy Snax
• This is too hot for Poros, and causes the King to spew fire! Fire is hot… don’t touch that!
• Espresso Snax
• So… much… caffeine! O_O The King bounces around, knocking back enemies and gains a shield.
• Rainbow Party Pack
• Snacks for all Poros! Whee! The Poros get so excited for the Snax that they stampede out, knocking around any champions in their path…
• Poro Skins (unlocked by purchasing the Astronaut/Shadow Isles/Dragonslayer etc Poro icons) still work, and give you cool personalized Poro followers. 😀

We’re still waiting for the finalized icons for now, so you should see those incoming in a few days! 🙂

Here’s a look at the four new types of Snax you can buy to power up your poro king!

In addition to these changes, we also have two new poro skins (enabled by equipping  specific icons during the mode) and an update to the base poro –  DARK STAR and STAR GUARDIAN.

A festive version of the Summoner’s Rift loading screen has been added  to go with the Winter SR!

Winter Summoner’s Rift remains on the PBE for testing this cycle in Normal Draft, Normal Blind, and One for All match made games. Look for it to release in 6.24!
